The four guards have invaded the city of the Gods and their creatures of chaos circulate freely throughout the world. The gods will reward those who defeat the guardians and return to Mount Olympus to immortality.
After the success of the sagas Xenon and Speedball the Bitmap Brothers were known for the quality of its incredible graphics and soundtracks. Gods no slouch in any of these aspects. The first thing you see when loading the game is the intro , which would be of rather normal if not for the graphic that shows the hero of the game with a ax huge and great music for "Into the Wonderful" by Nation XII, the regulars of games Bitmap Brothers.
The game is a platform for action, but with puzzles and a touch of adventure. Have an inventory with four slots that are accessed by pressing shutter when we are squatting. These objects can be keys, items or power-ups. The game is full of switches, some hidden, that will help us or we make things more difficult.
Another novel aspect of this game is that the enemies had an adaptive artificial intelligence, a rarity for games this style. It is not surprising that the program just working on games like Z or Command & Conquer .
